Confirmation and Adult Baptism 

As an adult starting to explore the Christian faith, you may realise you were not baptised as a child and are keen to do so to affirm your faith in God and intention to follow the way of Jesus with the help of the Holy Spirit. At the same time, or at a later date, you may choose to then be confirmed in a service where the Bishop lays his or her hands upon you and 'confirms' in you both your faith in God and the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Both adults and older children who wish to consider confirmation join a series of sessions where they can explore the Christian faith with others and then take the final step of confirmation if they choose to.
