Our Safeguarding policy is here:  Safeguarding Policy 2022

As part of the Diocese of Southwark, St John’s follows good safeguarding practice and adheres to the procedures and policies laid down in A Safe Church, a manual covering every aspect of safe working with children, young people and vulnerable adults.  It is easy to use and usually holds the answers to many frequently asked questions (about photographing children for publication, ratio of children to adults, registration of children for events etc), so please familiarise yourself with its contents and help us to keep safe the most vulnerable in our church.  http://southwark.anglican.org/safeguarding/diocesan-policies-and-procedures
We also follow the principles set out in the Church of England’s A Safer Church.  https://www.churchofengland.org/safeguarding/safer-church

If you have urgent concerns about the safety of a child or vulnerable adult, please contact the police.
